MARTIN JULEN SEN.

In 1955, Martin Julen won the Lauberhorn slalom ski race in Wengen. After his career as a professional skier, he opened the sports store Julen-Sport in Zermatt in 1958. His experience and his successes as a pro skier helped him to quickly turn his business into a flourishing success.

MAX JULEN

The victory in the giant slalom race at the 1984 Winter Olympics in Sarajevo marked the greatest success of his career. In addition to Olympic Gold, he won another World Cup race in Les Diablerets in 1983. In 1987, he quit his career at age 26 and has been managing the Hotel Beau-Rivage in Zermatt ever since. Max Julen is married and has three children.

KATJA & MARTIN JULEN JR.

In 1987, Martin Julen took over the sports store. Up to this day, his father Martin has always supported him when advice was needed. 1991 saw the first reconstruction of the store, more construction work followed in 2007 and the store was further enlarged and modernized. Today, Martin Julen jun. manages the long-established Zermatt business with his wife Katja. Continuity, quality, expert advice and service are still the cornerstones of success.
